Hi everyone,
I’m officially back from my mini hiatus & it’s already halfway through 2023 as it’s the end of June & can’t believe how fast this year is going. I was gone longer than expected from my sweet blog. As I been working behind the scenes on & off during this time away during the winter to Spring days. Despite the cool Spring days we had, summer is officially here and been waiting for Toronto summer hot & sunny weather days. Not a fan of cold weather, Fall and Summer are my fave seasons!! Looks like a combination of rainstorms, hazy air (bad air quality) from the bad wildfires and a humid hot summer is what Toronto is getting this year. Stay safe and cool everyone!! π§οΈβπβοΈ
Excited to be back and as always have lots to share with my readers while I been away as I’m looking forward to sharing a few new vegan & dairy free bakeshops from my St. Petersburg, Florida trip and of course in Toronto. I’m excited that St. Petersburg had lots of vegan and dairy free options as I didn’t know how diverse their food culture was there. I’m pleasantly surprised yet happy to know as I will be making my yearly return during the colder days in Toronto to St. Pete.
Stay tuned for a special late summer post sharing a few selected new frozen dessert shops for you guys to check out this summer for your frozen desserts sweet cravings instead of my Summer Series that I did last year changing it up and making it to just be one summer post to make things easier for me.
Quick Update: What I Been Up To?
From January 2023 to the end of March, I finished my full time temp work. Sad that work opportunity couldn’t continue longer as it was a great small team. It was a great working experience in the recruitment area. I took some time off in April to catch up on house cleaning, organizing and more along with preparing for my Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida trip first week of May.
If you couldn’t tell from my Instagram stories, I was loving every moment in St. Petersburg, Florida for my 1 week vacation soaking in the sun, sand, beach & of course the delicious foods & desserts. I stayed in the Treasure Island area for most of the time but also stayed in Dunedin, Florida for a short 2 nights while checking out Clearwater and then lastly stayed one night in Tampa, Florida to explore downtown Tampa. I explored quite a bit of Pinellas Country in a week but there are still lots I didn’t see. I look forward to returning back to St. Petersburg, Florida next year in May 2024 again as I already booked my beach condo this time staying beside Treasure Island but in Madeira Beach area.
For this summer 2023, I’m excited for my short summer trip to New York City in mid-August for an event. My 1st time going to New York & despite my short 4 days trip hoping to make the most out of it with sightseeing, shopping and of course enjoying all the delicious foods & vegan desserts in New York. Hoping to check out a few vegan restaurants and bakeshops to share with you guys. If anyone has any great vegan & dairy free restaurant, cafe or bakeshops to recommend for me, please let me know.
What are you guys looking forward to doing this summer?? Besides my New York trip, relaxing and hanging out with my friends & family, day trips to Burlington & other Ontario cities and of course beach days while the heat and sun is here in T.O. summer.
Thank you to all my readers for being patient with me this year for new posts. I really do appreciate it. My 1st new post will be released next month in July. Stay tuned!!!
Have a great and fun summer of 2023 everyone!! Don’t forget this summer to return back to my blog as mentioned sharing a few new frozen desserts shops for you to check out and satisfy your sweet and fruity cool cravings!! π¦π¨π§π₯πππ
