I can’t believe it’s already the end of December and 2026 a New Year is coming in a few short days as this last half of year 2025 just flew by esp the last few months!! Hope everyone have a wonderful and lovely Christmas Holidays break I know sometimes Holidays during this time of year is stressful. Enjoyed this down time with your family and friends!! A little bit of sweets can sometimes help…😋
This is a quick update post as unfortunately this year I don’t have time to do a proper Christmas post as I’m currently busy working my temp full time Admin job. It’s been keeping me quite busy and still adjusting to full time life. I still made time this Holiday season to still enjoy my dairy free and vegan baked goods and desserts from my fave local bakeries such as Kelly’s Bakeshop and Machino Donuts and I also will share my Holiday treats on my Instagram page as I been trying to stay active on it so you guys can stay in touch with me.

If you are looking for last minute Christmas treats and desserts, please check my previous Christmas posts for some suggestions. As always I love supporting local, here are some of my fave vegan bakeries for last minute Christmas desserts and treats are,

- Kelly’s Bakeshop (located in Oakville but also available for delivery in the GTA and their Burlington location is not ready yet til 2026 (Date still to be announced when they will open). I will be posting my Kelly’s Oakville location post in 2026 so stay tuned!)
- Machino Donuts (located in the West end of Toronto, best fluffy and soft vegan donuts they have Christmas flavours)
- Bloomer’s (several GTA locations, please check their website for the closest one. They recently re-opened the new location in North York still at Bayview Village but in a different section of the mall where I usually go. Another fave fluffy and delicious vegan donut shop I love.)
An update on my fave vegan West end bakery, Caked Coffee, if you haven’t heard the news that they closed the Toronto West end closed on Bloor St West. I’m so upset as I always get my cake from there. But they are still open at their Burlington location and their focus is their product production, cakes cupcakes and they are available for delivery, which I might have to do as I always get my birthday cake from them. This information is from their Instagram Post. They have also written that there is a possibility of a new Toronto location in 2026, I hope so. I will do a proper update on my post of Caked Coffee so my readers will be able to see it there if you go to that post instead of here.

This is my last post for 2025 and I will be on my Annual winter hiatus as I will be very busy with my temp full time Admin job as it’s busy tax season during the winter that’s why. I’m already planning my Annual Spring (May) Florida vacation as usual. Yes I usually book early. I will be going back to St. Pete like always as I love it there but also checking out Anna Maria Island this time another new area to explore in Sarasota. I will be going to both places!! I’m excited I’m already over the cold and snowy days in Toronto as we got early snow this year as usually in December we don’t get that much snow that last few years.
